this is, by far, the best mix i've ever made. i made it for a girl i was in love with. i think it shows. i rarely listen to my own mixes but this one i've listened to a thousand times. sunrise or sunset or k hole. it works a treat.

after a while i started to give it away to a few people but decided i would only give it to girls. after a year or so it was featured on resident advisor as my podcast. it's full of beautiful, dreamy, melancholic house. music with emotion.

this was the beginning of a road i'm still on as i'm about to start (in june 2011) a party called 'all day i dream' (a record label too). each event will be outdoors on a sunday afternoon and music like this (and from another mix on here - live from Lightning in a bottle) will be the flavor. i want to create a party where the music makes you smile and melt a little (maybe the sun will help with that too).
